Selling Your Equipment (old)
Selling your equipment is easy! We buy all sorts of gear, old and new, film and digital.
We are always looking for good quality lenses for film and digital cameras, modern interchangeable-lens digital cameras, classic film rangefinders and SLRs, medium and large format equipment, and more. Not sure if you have something suitable? Just ask! We're friendly folks and we're always happy to advise.
We can't buy everything, but we try to make selling your photographic equipment as easy and painless as possible. So if you want to get started, here's what you can do:
- First, let us know what equipment you're looking to sell. You can reach us by phone, by e-mail, or in person at our shop (click here to open our Contacts page in a new tab). If you have something that we believe we can use, we'll ask that you bring it in for testing and evaluation.
- Next, we'll thoroughly check over the equipment to make sure that it's in good working order. This process can take a week to 10 days, depending on the quantity of items and our current workload in the shop. At this time, you'll be provided with a more precise timeline and an itemized receipt for the equipment you leave with us.
- Finally, we'll contact you and provide you with an offer on the items that we are able to buy.
There's no pressure and no charge for an evaluation, even if we don't make an offer or you decide not to sell.
Please note, it is our policy not to provide “ballpark estimates” on equipment that we haven’t had a chance to inspect.
