Like everyone else out there, we’re concerned about limiting the spread of this accursed COVID-19 virus, and we’ll be taking action to help keep our community safe and healthy.
Starting at 5PM today, our storefront will be closed for a few weeks as a precautionary measure. We hope that this will help minimize the early impacts of COVID-19 on our staff, community, and health care professionals.
We’re proud to welcome photographers of all ages, lifestyles, and skill levels into our shop. One of the unique advantages of a venue like ours is the ability to touch, feel and experience a wide variety of equipment, which is fantastic for learning and exploration- but also poses challenges when trying to keep to currently recommended best practices.
We don’t take this action lightly- but we’re doing what we can to minimize the disruption.
Need film or other in-stock items? If you live in Downtown Victoria, Oak Bay, or the UVic area, we can deliver to your door for a flat $5 rate during the closure- same-day or next-day. Please note that we are unable to deliver to PO boxes or apartment lockboxes. Please do not hesitate to contact us by email

We will still be open for regular mail-order business during the closure. You can email us
to place an order, as always.
If you have rentals booked: We will still honour all currently scheduled rentals. Please contact us
to arrange for pickup. If you would prefer to have your equipment delivered, please let us know and we will make arrangements.
If you have rentals out: please hold on to them for the time being. We will re-open in early April and you can return them at this time. Don’t panic! You will not be charged for any days beyond what’s on your original rental agreement.
