A letter from the owner:
Hello. Anthony here. Over the last 20 years, I’ve tried- along with our treasured past and present team members- to build Camera Traders into a cool little camera store for Victoria and beyond. We’ve done our best to make this a place where professionals, hobbyists, beginners, old photographers, kids, and assorted curious onlookers can feel welcome. Every day, I do my best to live up to that ideal, and I expect everyone who works with me to do the same. We work hard here, we draw on our individual strengths, and I'm proud to say that we punch above our weight. But there’s much more we can do, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of building Camera Traders into a more effective resource for our community. It's retail, so there are going to be weird days, like any job working with the public. I can't tell you that every day is going to be a party, but I will say this: when you work with us, you can expect to be treated with respect. I can promise you that you will never be asked to work without pay, you will never have to act against your conscience, and you will never have to make nice with customers you’re not comfortable with. We want your best, and we expect you to demand our best. This isn't a job for everyone, but it might be for you. If it sounds like something you’re into, I hope you’ll consider getting in touch. Thank you. Anthony Frattaroli |
