The Nikon SD-9 is a high performance battery pack for Speedlight SB-900 and SB-910 flashes. It accepts eight AA batteries (not included) and connects via a coiled cable to the external power socket of the SB900/910 for faster recharge times and longer life than the four built-in batteries.
